Sleeping bag for world travel!?
Hello I'm leaving on Friday for a RTW trip and stressing profusely I'm going for 3 months and in that time i'll be staying in hostels and with family. Do I need a sleeping bag? Its taking up sooo much room in my backpack so maybe I should take a blanket instead because it seems silly to take something so bulky which I probably won't end up using anyway... Careers that involve constant world travel?
I want to live my life to the fullest, and the way I want to do it is to become a world traveler. I want to break out of the mundane work routine that seem to be commonplace for jobs these days, and I want to make money while constantly moving around, exploring every nook and cranny of the world and interacting with people from each of the areas I go to.Is this idea too good to be true? Is there any occupation that involves constant world travel? I really love foreign language and pretty much every other subject besides mathematics. I really do not like politics very much either, but if there is something politically related I still may be interested. Also, I'm definitely not interested in joining the military.

From Australia, for example, start over the Pacific to USA or via Asia to Europe? Best carriers? Best surprising places visited? You are providing advice to traveler who knows the USA Canada, Mexico, Italy and the UK in some detail... SO where else? I'm starting to look into colleges, but I don't know what I want to major in. I really don't know what I want to do when I get older, which I know is pretty normal even through the first few years of college, which is why I'll probably go to my local university until I do know. I want to travel though... That's what makes me happiest. The happiest times of my life have been when I'm exploring other countries. I don't like sitting in offices and being on the computer all day. What jobs involve world travel? I thought maybe fashion but I'm not looking to travel because of fashion, I'm looking to travel because I love learning about different countries and cultures. Are there any jobs that do that?
